Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Remove a towing plate (if it is provided).
3. Turn off a bipod nut, remove a washer.
4. Put tags of mutual orientation of a bipod and a shaft.
5. Press a bipod from a shaft.
6. Disconnect and muffle hydraulic actuator tubes on the steering mechanism.
7. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the coupling of a steering shaft to the steering mechanism.
8. Turn off bolts of fastening of the steering mechanism to the chassis and remove the steering mechanism.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the steering mechanism into place and wrap bolts.
2. Wrap a bolt of fastening of the coupling of a steering shaft to the steering mechanism, tighten a bolt with m 40–49 N.' moment.
3. Tighten bolts of fastening of a steering column with m 17 N.' moment.
4. Establish a bipod on a shaft and tighten a nut with m 196–236 N.' moment.
5. Establish a towing plate (if it is provided).
6. Lower the car.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish forward wheels in the provision of driving on a straight line.
2. Release a lock-nut of the adjusting screw of the steering mechanism.
3. Rotate the adjusting screw clockwise to increase a side play, or counterclockwise to reduce.
4. Adjust a side play of a steering wheel within 10–30 mm and tighten a lock-nut with m 37–47 N.' moment.
