Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Put tags of mutual orientation of flanges of the forward driveshaft and the leading gear wheel of the main transfer, disconnect the driveshaft.
3. Check the moment of resistance to a provorachivaniye of a nut of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer. At assembly the nut should be tightened so that the moment of resistance to a provorachivaniye remained.

Prevention

The moment of resistance to a provorachivaniye of a nut of the leading gear wheel has to be 20–30 N. in m.


4. Turn off a nut of the leading gear wheel and remove a washer.
5. Remove a flange of the leading gear wheel.
6. Hook and get an epiploon.
7. Clear and examine the condensed surface and the surface of boring under an epiploon in the reducer case.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Press in the reducer case a new epiploon so that the plane of an epiploon appeared aflush with the reducer case.
2. After installation of an epiploon it is necessary to install a former tightness in bearings of the leading gear wheel.
3. For this purpose tighten a nut of the leading gear wheel so that the moment of resistance to a nut provorachivaniye remained. At an inhaling of a nut hold a flange.
4. Attach the driveshaft, having combined the tags put when dismantling.
5. Check oil level in a reducer.
