6.3.8. Forward leading bridge Details of the forward leading bridge


1. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Disconnect the forward driveshaft from the leading gear wheel of the main transfer.
3. Remove forward wheels and a towing frame.
4. Completely unload the torsion, having turned off bolts of adjustment of clearance.
5. Remove bars of racks of a forward suspension bracket.
6. Disconnect drafts of the stabilizer from the lower levers.
7. Remove supports of disk brakes, tie them a wire to a frame, not to disconnect the highway of a hydraulic actuator of brakes.
8. Disconnect hinges of steering racks.
9. Remove the top levers of a suspension bracket, pay attention to quantity of adjusting washers of levers and their arrangement.
10. Disconnect steering drafts from the lower levers.
11. Disconnect shock-absorbers from the lower levers.
12. Disconnect the lower levers of a suspension bracket from a frame.
13. Remove a wheel nave with the blocking mechanism.
14. Remove disks and the top drafts.
15. Remove a steering bipod and the pendular lever assembled with drafts.
16. Carefully lower a differential case, without having damaged at the same time hinges.
17. Merge oil from a case, turn off 4 bolts of fastening of flanges of cases of half shafts to a differential case.
18. Get half shafts.



1. Lift the car and establish on supports. Remove wheels.
2. Remove a half shaft.
3. Get an epiploon from a bridge beam.
4. Check a condition of a surface under an epiploon on a beam of the bridge and the condensed half shaft surface. Clear these surfaces.
5. Press a new epiploon a working edge inside.


It is carried out upside-down, before installation of a half shaft grease a working edge of an epiploon. Check oil level.



1. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Get a half shaft.
3. Turn off a nut of a half shaft and remove a kontryashchy washer.
4. Remove from a half shaft the holder of the bearing, the bearing and an epiploon.


It is carried out upside-down. Replace an epiploon and a washer. Tighten a nut with m 250–320 N.' moment.

1. Transfer a control lever the transfer case to situation 2H. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Take off a nave cap.
3. Remove a lock ring and a package of washers from a pin.
4. Remove the case of a nave and a kontryashchy washer.
5. Remove the external hug bearing.
6. A brass or wooden mandrel beat out the internal bearing together with an epiploon, the epiploon is subject to replacement.
7. Wash out all details.
8. Check a condition of details, existence of cracks for them. Put high-temperature lubricant in bearings, remove excess of lubricant. Grease a nave (about 2 g of lubricant).


1. Slightly grease a pin.
2. Insert the internal bearing into a nave, establish a new epiploon and a lock ring.
3. Establish a nave on a pin, insert the external bearing.
4. Wrap a nut.
5. Tighten a nut, turning a nave so that the nave still could be turned by hand.
6. Turn a wheel on 2–3 turns and release a nut so that the nut could turn away by hand.
7. Tighten a nut by hand that the side play in bearings disappeared.
8. Dress on a nut key (a rozhkovy key with two pins) a dynamometer and check the effort necessary for a nave provorachivaniye which has to be within 10–16 N. Ubedites that blocks do not touch a disk. If necessary tighten a nut before obtaining the necessary effort.
9. Tighten nave cap bolts with m 20 N.' moment.
