GENERAL INFORMATION

CARS WITH PETROL ENGINES

Adjustment of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve on petrol engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken adjusting nuts of the drive of a butterfly valve.
2. Make sure that the adjusting screw (it is specified by an arrow) rests against the limiter of the lever of the drive of a butterfly valve.

Prevention

If the screw does not rest against the limiter, then the system of installation of the raised idling turns works. Adjust position of the screw and establish normal turns of idling.


3. To establish normal turns of idling perform the following operations:
      – disconnect the battery from weight;
      – uncover the air filter;
      – be convinced that the adjusting screw rests against the limiter of the lever of the drive of a butterfly valve;
      – establish a cover of the air filter;
      – connect the battery to weight.
4. Remove a rubber cover and rotating a nut establish a control gap of 0,8-1,5 mm, tighten an adjusting nut. The control gap is equal to distance between an end face of a cover and the limiter of a cable.
5. After adjustment check cable course length before full opening of a butterfly valve which has to be 32,9–33,9 mm.
6. Establish a rubber cover into place.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Press to the full a pedal of an accelerator and be convinced that the butterfly valve is completely open.
Prevention

If the gate completely does not open, then adjust the gate drive.


2. Press to the full an accelerator pedal.
3. Weaken adjusting nuts of a cover of a cable.
4. Adjust the provision of a cover of a cable so that the distance between an end face of the through rubber plug and the limiter of a cable was within 0,8–1,5 mm.
5. Tighten adjusting nuts.
6. Check adjustment.

CARS WITH DIESEL ENGINES

Adjustment of the TNVD lever on diesel engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken adjusting nuts of a cover of a cable.
2. Press to the full an accelerator pedal that the TNVD lever adjoined to the adjusting screw.

Prevention

If the lever did not make contact with the screw, then adjust the accelerator drive.


3. Rotating a nut, adjust the provision of a cover before receiving a control gap of 0,8-1,5 mm. Tighten adjusting nuts. The control gap is equal to distance between a rubber cover and the limiter of a cable.
4. After adjustment check cable course length from the provision of normal turns of idling to the situation corresponding to the maximum speed which has to be 32,9–33,9 mm.
Prevention

Normal turns of idling are not established at the switched-on conditioner, or at a temperature of cooling liquid below 15 °C.
