Check of a nozzle

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the sockets of wires (going from the engine and from the additional resistor) and check resistance between socket conclusions.
2. Resistance has to be within 2–3 Ohms.
3. Listen to work of nozzles as a stethoscope on the working engine. During the normal work of nozzles uniform clicks have to be listened. If clicks are absent, then the nozzle is faulty.
4. Check leakage of nozzles for what remove a comb with nozzles and hoses. On the idle engine turn on the fuel pump. Leak has to be 2–3 drops a minute. In total on the engine 4 nozzles, on one on the cylinder.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depressurize fuel system.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight.
3. Disconnect sockets from nozzles, previously having marked them.
4. Disconnect a fuel distributor comb from the highway.
5. Remove the fuel distributor from the soaking-up collector together with nozzles.
6. Get nozzles.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace laying of nozzles.
2. Establish nozzles.
3. Grease rings of nozzles with liquid for automatic transmission and press them together with a distributor comb into the soaking-up collector.
4. Wrap bolts of fastening of the distributor of fuel.
5. Attach a fuel distributor comb to the highway.
6. Attach sockets to nozzles.
7. Connect the battery to weight.
8. Include ignition and be convinced of lack of a leak of fuel on a fuel distributor comb.

6-CYLINDER ENGINES

On these engines 2 nozzles which are in the case of a butterfly valve are established.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depressurize fuel system.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight.
3. Remove the air filter.
4. Press ledges of the socket of a nozzle and remove the socket, having pulled vertically up.
5. Carefully uncover the air stream measuring instrument, having hooked it the screw-driver.
6. Carefully get nozzles having hooked them the screw-driver and having got from the case.
7. Remove small rings from the terminations of nozzles. Carefully turning in both directions, remove the fuel filter from nozzles.
8. Laying of the measuring instrument of a stream is subject to obligatory replacement.
9. Get a big ring and a washer from a tsikovka of an opening of a nozzle.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease rings of nozzles with liquid for automatic transmission and press them into openings in the case of a butterfly valve.
2. Replace laying and establish a stream measuring instrument cover.
3. Attach sockets to nozzles.
4. Install the air filter, connect the battery to weight.
