3.3.14. Oil pump


1. Remove an oil case.
2. Unscrew the bolts fixing the oil pump to the block of cylinders.
3. Get the pump from the block, remove a sealing ring from a final branch pipe of the pump and throw out it; in installation time the new sealing ring is required.


1. Disconnect a maslopriyemny branch pipe from the basis of the oil pump, unscrew bolts and uncover a pump casing.
2. Get the conducted gear wheel.
3. Unscrew a nut of connection and disconnect a final branch pipe from a pump casing.
4. Take the forelock and remove a cap, a spring and the piston of the reducing valve from the pump.
5. Clean all details of the pump, examine gear wheels, the case, a cover of the pump and the piston of the valve on existence of zadir or wear.
6. Replace all damaged or worn-out details.
7. If all details of the pump are in the normal state, insert the conducted gear wheel into the case of the valve and check a set of probes gaps between teeths of gear wheels and the case.
8. By means of the probe and a ruler check a gap between end faces of gear wheels and the plane of a pump housing.
9. Compare the results received by you to the sizes given in subsection 3.3.2.
10. If wear of cogwheels exceeds admissible norms, then wheels need to be replaced.
11. Insert the conducted gear wheel into a casing of the pump and oil pure engine.
12. Check that the joined surfaces were pure and dry.
13. Connect a maslopriyemny branch pipe to the pump and put on a pump cover.
14. Tighten fixing bolts till the required inhaling moment.
15. Insert the piston of the reducing valve of the pump, a spring and establish a cap.
16. Press on a cap and insert the lock forelock.
17. Connect a final branch pipe to the pump, having delayed its fastenings by a hand.


1. Check that joined the pump and the block of cylinders were pure and dry.
2. Establish laying on a final branch pipe of the pump.
3. Grease it with a small amount of lubricant.
4. Install the pump into place, insert fixing bolts and tighten them till the necessary moment of an inhaling.
5. When the pump is installed, tighten a nut of a final branch pipe till the necessary moment of an inhaling.
6. Establish an oil case.
