CAMSHAFT ASTERISK


Prevention

Perhaps, for removal of an asterisk from the camshaft it will be necessary to use a stripper.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection 3.3.9).
2. Using a lock bolt of an asterisk for prevention of rotation of an asterisk, turn off and remove the central bolt fixing an asterisk nave to the camshaft.
3. Remove a lock bolt, then remove an asterisk and a nave from the end of the camshaft.
4. If it is necessary, remove an asterisk by means of a suitable stripper which levers need to be installed in openings on an asterisk.
5. If the segment spline is leaky established on the end of the camshaft, remove it and you store together with an asterisk not to lose.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation check an epiploon for existence of damages or traces of leak of oil. If it is necessary, replace it.
2. Check that the segment spline was established on the end of the camshaft.
3. Establish an asterisk on a shaft, having checked that the cut on a nave was correctly combined with a segment spline. Be very accurate not to damage an epiploon edge at installation of an asterisk.
4. Combine the synchronizing opening in an asterisk with a carving opening in a back guard and twirl a lock bolt.
5. Establish a fixing bolt of an asterisk and a washer and shade a bolt till the required inhaling moment.
6. Establish a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection
3.3.9).

ASTERISK OF THE INJECTING PUMP
Prevention

Perhaps, for removal of an asterisk from a shaft of the pump it will be necessary to use a stripper.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection 3.3.9).
2. Using a lock bolt for prevention of rotation of an asterisk, turn off and remove a fixing nut and a washer.
3. Remove a lock bolt, then remove an asterisk from a shaft, the injecting pump.
4. If it is necessary, remove an asterisk by means of a suitable stripper which levers need to be installed in openings on an asterisk.
5. If the segment spline is leaky established on the end of the camshaft, remove it and you store together with an asterisk not to lose.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the segment spline was established on the end of a shaft of the pump.
2. Establish an asterisk on a shaft, having checked that the cut on a nave was correctly combined with a segment spline.
3. Combine the synchronizing opening in an asterisk with a carving opening in a back guard and twirl a lock bolt.
4. Establish a fixing nut and tighten it till the required inhaling moment.
5. Establish a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection
3.3.9).

ASTERISK OF THE BENT SHAFT
Prevention

Perhaps, for removal of an asterisk from a bent shaft it will be necessary to use a stripper.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection 3.3.9).
2. Turn off a fixing bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft. In order that the bent shaft did not rotate, ask the assistant to include the highest transfer and to squeeze out a brake pedal. If the engine is removed from the car, then it is necessary to block a flywheel.
3. Turn off a fixing bolt and remove a pulley of a bent shaft from the end of a shaft.
4. Remove an asterisk from a bent shaft, having remembered by what party it was established; if the asterisk is not removed, use a stripper.
5. If the segment spline sits leaky, remove it and you store together with an asterisk in order that it was not lost.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

3. Establish an asterisk on a shaft, having checked that the cut on a nave was correctly combined with a segment spline, and establish a fixing bolt.
4. Block a bent shaft as at removal, and tighten a fixing bolt of an asterisk till the required inhaling moment.
5. Establish a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft (see subsection
3.3.9).

NATYAZHITEL

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft.
2. Turn off a fixing bolt and remove a natyazhitel from a back guard.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install a natyazhitel on the engine, having checked that the pin on a back guard got to a cut on a natyazhitel.
2. Check that the natyazhitel was correctly established, then establish a fixing bolt, having tightened it it is weak.
3. Establish a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft.

INTERMEDIATE PULLEY

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft.
2. Turn off a fixing bolt and remove an intermediate pulley from a back guard.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a pulley of a natyazhitel and reliably twirl his fixing bolt.
2. Establish a gear belt of the drive of the camshaft.
