GENERAL INFORMATION

Final collector and sensor of content of oxygen

ENGINES 4ZD1

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Depressurize fuel system, following rules. Disconnect the battery from weight. Remove the air filter.
2. Turn off a bolt of an arm of a recirculation tube in a back part of a head of cylinders.
3. Lift the car, establish on supports. Pick up the recirculation phone from the soaking-up and final collectors.
4. Remove an exhaust pipe from a final collector. Disconnect a wire from the sensor of content of oxygen.
5. Remove a thermal guard and a heater.
6. Turn off nuts and bolts of fastening, remove a collector.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace laying of a final collector, establish a collector and tighten nuts and bolts of a collector with m 20–25 N.' moment.
2. Establish a heater and a thermal guard.
3. Attach an exhaust pipe to a final collector. Attach a wire to the sensor of content of oxygen.
4. Establish a recirculation tube to both collectors and lower the car.
5. Wrap a bolt of an arm of a recirculation tube in a back part of a head of cylinders.
6. Install the air filter. Connect the battery to weight.

ENGINES 4ZE1

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight. Remove an air duct.
2. Disconnect hoses from the air pump.
3. Turn off bolts of fastening of the pump, take off a belt of the drive and the pump.
4. Turn off a bolt of fastening of a recirculation tube in a back part of a head of cylinders.
5. Lift the car and establish on supports. Disconnect a recirculation tube from both collectors. If necessary remove an oil indicator with a branch pipe.
6. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a final collector. Disconnect the socket from the oxygen sensor.
7. Remove a thermal guard of a collector.
8. Turn off nuts of fastening of a collector to a head of cylinders and remove a collector.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish new laying of a collector, the collector and tighten fastening nuts with m 22 N.' moment.
2. Establish a thermal guard of a collector.
3. Attach to final a collector an exhaust pipe, attach the socket to the oxygen sensor.
4. Attach a recirculation tube to both collectors. Lower the car.
5. Wrap a bolt of an arm of a recirculation tube in a back part of a head of cylinders.
6. Establish an air duct. Connect the battery to weight.

V6 ENGINE

Final collector of the V6 engine

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Lift the car and establish on supports.
3. Remove an exhaust pipe from a final collector.
4. Lower the car, turn off back bolts of a collector.
5. Remove on the right side a thermal guard, an arm of the air pump and an arm of the generator.
6. On the left side remove a pipe of a heater and an arm of the power steering.
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of a final collector to a head of cylinders, remove a collector.
8. Remove the remains of old consolidation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a collector, having replaced laying, tighten collector bolts with m 25 N.' moment.
2. On the left side establish a pipe of a heater and an arm of the power steering.
3. On the right side establish a thermal guard, an arm of the air pump and an arm of the generator.
4. Lift the car and establish on supports.
5. Establish an exhaust pipe, tighten bolts.
6. Lower the car and connect the battery to weight.
