3.2.2.31. Assembly of conrod and piston group and installation on the engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Orient a rod and the piston on tags.
2. Oil a piston finger pure for the engine and enter into the piston and a rod, either having pushed by hand, or having pressed on adaptation (depending on a design).
3. Establish lock rings of fingers (if are provided), having turned them so that rings were recorded in special flutes.
4. Further arrive as follows.
5. Be convinced of the correct selection of connecting rods and of the correct mutual orientation of the piston and a rod.
6. Dress pieces of a rubber hose on bolts of covers, grease inserts of conrod bearings with assembly lubricant.
7. Squeeze rings and enter the piston assembled with a rod into the cylinder (dredging in the top part of the piston has to be turned towards a forward part of the engine).
8. Grease conrod necks of a bent shaft with assembly lubricant or pure oil for the engine. Enclose an insert in a rod and attract a rod to the corresponding conrod neck.
9. Remove pieces of hoses, establish covers of rods and tighten bolts (nuts) of rods with the set moment.
10. Check a gap between end faces of rods and a bent shaft. For measurement of a gap it is necessary to take away a rod slightly. If the gap is less than norm, then the rod should be proshlifovat. If the gap exceeds norm, then replace a rod new and again check a gap. If the gap still exceeds a standard, then bent shaft it is necessary to remove, weld on and proshlifovat, or to replace.
11. Install the oil pump (if acted) and the oil pallet.
12. Establish a head of cylinders, the soaking-up collector (see subsection 3.2.2.7 and subsection 3.2.2.14.1).
