GENERAL INFORMATION

Tension mechanism

Adjusting tags of asterisks of the camshaft and TNVD

ENGINES 4ZD1 AND 4ZE1

Gear belt and mechanism of a tension (engines 4ZD1 and 4ZE1)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, remove a pulley of a bent shaft.
2. Uncover top and lower a gear belt.
3. Turn a bent shaft so that the tag on an asterisk of the camshaft was combined with a tag on a back cover of a gear belt, and the spline on a bent shaft was combined with a tag on the holder of a forward epiploon. When the specified tags are combined the piston of the 4th cylinder is in compression step VMT.
4. Weaken a tension of a gear belt, take off a belt from a camshaft asterisk.

Installation

Combination of a tag on a camshaft asterisk (engines 4ZD1 and 4ZE1)

Combination of a tag on an asterisk of a bent shaft (engines 4ZD1 and 4ZE1)


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Without breaking combination of tags of asterisks of a bent shaft and the camshaft, establish a belt. To establish a belt in the following order: asterisk of a bent shaft, asterisk of the oil pump, camshaft asterisk.
2. Bring a roller of a natyazhitel into contact with a belt.
3. Turn a bent shaft on 2 whole revolutions in a direction opposite to normal rotation and again combine adjusting tags.
4. Release a bolt of a roller of a natyazhitel to provide the required effort to a belt from a spring. Tighten a bolt of a roller of a natyazhitel with m 20 N.' moment.
5. Establish both covers and a pulley of a bent shaft.
6. Connect the battery to weight. Start the engine, be convinced of lack of a leak.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, merge cooling liquid.
2. Uncover a gear belt. Remove a TNVD drive asterisk flange.
3. Disconnect a spring from a natyazhitel of a gear belt.
Prevention

At removal of a spring do not use too big efforts, otherwise breakage of a spring is possible.


4. Turn off a bolt of a roller of a natyazhitel and shoot a video.
5. Take off a gear belt.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT.
2. Combine adjusting tags on an asterisk of TNVD and on a camshaft asterisk so that these tags settled down the friend opposite to the friend.
3. Put on a new belt in the following sequence: asterisk of a bent shaft, camshaft asterisk, TNVD asterisk. Between asterisks of the camshaft and TNVD there has to be a weak point.
4. Establish a natyazhitel and a roller of a natyazhitel so that the edge of a natyazhitel was opposite to pins on a cover of a roller of a natyazhitel.
5. Tighten a roller nut by hand, the roller has to rotate freely.
6. Establish a spring of a natyazhitel, tighten a nut, but not to the full (with m 30–48 N.' moment).
7. Turn a bent shaft on 2 whole revolutions clockwise, at the same time the belt takes seat in the place. Then tighten a bent shaft on 90 ° to expose TNVD.
8. Weaken a belt tension for what release a nut of a roller of a natyazhitel. Tighten a nut with m 108–128 N.' moment.
9. Establish TNVD asterisk flange so that the opening on the edge of a flange coincided with a triangular tag on a drive asterisk.
10. Turn a bent shaft on 2 whole revolutions clockwise and install the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT. Make sure that the triangular tag on an asterisk coincided with deepening in a flange then check a belt tension which has to be 1,3–2,2 kgfs.
11. Establish a cover of a gear belt.
12. Connect the battery to weight.
