3.2.2.23. Gear belt and natyazhitel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Orientation of a gear belt (all engines)

1 – to a head of cylinders

2 – direction of rotation of the engine

3 – tape of a belt

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, remove a pulley of a bent shaft.
2. Uncover top and lower a gear belt.
3. Weaken a tension of a gear belt, having released a roller of a natyazhitel so that the roller rested against a belt under the influence of a spring.
4. Turn a bent shaft on 2 whole revolutions in a direction opposite to normal rotation and again combine adjusting tags.
5. Release a bolt of a roller of a natyazhitel to provide the required effort to a belt from a spring. Tighten a bolt of a roller of a natyazhitel with m 20 N.' moment.
6. Establish both covers and a pulley of a bent shaft.

DIESEL ENGINES

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight, merge cooling liquid.
2. Uncover a gear belt and establish into place a pulley of a bent shaft.
3. Expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT. Make sure that the adjusting tag on a pulley was combined with the index on a scale. The tag on the conducted asterisk of the camshaft has to be combined with a tag on a TNVD drive asterisk.
Prevention

Between asterisks of TNVD and the camshaft, any weak point of a belt will be compensated.


4. Expose a roller of a natyazhitel so that the center of a tension was located between two pins on the case. Tighten a nut by hand that the roller of a natyazhitel rotated freely.
5. Be convinced of correctness of installation of a spring of a natyazhitel. Tighten a nut of a roller of a natyazhitel with m 29–47 N.' moment.
6. Turn a bent shaft on 2 whole revolutions in the direction clockwise. Further tighten a bent shaft on 90 ° concerning VMT to expose TNV.
7. Weaken a nut of a roller of a natyazhitel to weaken a belt, then tighten a nut with m 108–135 N.' moment.
Prevention

It is forbidden to rotate a bent shaft against an hour hand.


8. Check a belt tension between an asterisk of TNVD and an asterisk of a bent shaft which has to be 45–75 N. in m.
