3.2.2.18.1. Removal and installation

GENERAL INFORMATION

ENGINES 4ZD1 AND 4ZE1

Details of the oil pump of engines 4ZD1 and 4ZE1

The oil pump on these engines is mounted in the forward lower part of the engine, the drive of the pump is carried out from a gear belt.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover top and lower a gear belt.
2. Take off a belt from asterisks of a bent shaft and the oil pump.
3. Turn off a nut of fastening of an asterisk of the oil pump and remove an asterisk.
4. Turn off bolts of fastening of the oil pump to the engine and remove the pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put technical vaseline in the pump.
2. Install the pump with a new sealing ring, tighten fastening bolts with m 14–22 N.' moment.
3. Establish an asterisk of the drive of the pump and tighten a nut with m 63–86 N.' moment.
4. Combine tags on an asterisk of a bent shaft and the conducted gear wheel of the camshaft and put on a gear belt.
5. Fill in oil in the engine. Start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.

V6 ENGINE

On this engine the oil pump is mounted on the block of cylinders in the oil pallet.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Merge oil from the engine. Remove the oil pallet (see subsection 3.2.2.17).
3. Turn off bolts and remove the oil pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Combine the pump roller with six-sided deepening and install the pump. Tighten bolts with m 41 N.'s moment.
2. Install the pallet.
3. Connect the battery to weight. Fill in oil in the engine, start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight. Merge oil from the engine.
2. Remove the engine.
3. Remove the oil pallet (see subsection 3.2.2.17).
4. Disconnect an oil exit tube from the oil pump. Turn off bolts and remove the oil pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear demountable the planes under laying.
2. Install the pump with new laying, attach a tube to the oil pump. Tighten bolts with m 14–22 N.' moment.
3. Install the pallet.
4. Install the engine.
5. Connect the battery to weight. Fill in oil in the engine, start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
