GENERAL INFORMATION

THE BUILT-IN REGULATOR OF TENSION (EXCEPT V6 ENGINES)

Check of the built-in regulator of tension is carried out at the special stand.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the generator.
2. Turn off and get coupling bolts and separate generator covers.
3. Turn off two nuts of plugs for connection of a cable from the battery (VAT plug), remove the brush holder assembled with the rectifier. Separate the stator from a back cover.
4. Remove the stator assembled. Cut off wires in the place of the soldering of diodes and remove the stator.
5. Turn off a nut, remove a fan plate, the battery cable plug, the condenser, the rectifier and the regulator of tension. Drill a rivet of fastening of the diode to the brush holder. Unsolder a conclusion of the L diode from the brush holder.
