3.2.1.5.1.1. Removal and installation

GENERAL INFORMATION

V6 ENGINE GENERATOR

Removal of the generator (V6 engine)

1 – to a forward part of the engine
2 – moment of an inhaling of 25 N. of m.
3 – moment of an inhaling of 35 N. of m.
4 – moment of an inhaling of 25 N. of m.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Remove a cap and disconnect a cable from the battery in a back part of the generator.
3. Take off a drive belt.
4. Turn off a bolt of an arm of the air pump in a back part of the generator.
5. Turn off fastening bolts in a forward part of the generator and remove the generator from the car.
6. Install the generator and tighten fastening bolts.
7. Put on a drive belt.
8. Tighten the lower bolt of fastening with m 35 N.' moment, the top bolt – with 25 N.' moment m and a bolt of an arm of the pump – with m 25 N.' moment.

OTHER MODELS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Disconnect conducting of the generator (previously having marked).
3. Turn off the directing bolt in the lower part of the generator. Take off a drive belt.
4. Turn off bolts of fastening of the generator and remove the generator.
5. Install the generator.
6. Adjust a tension of a belt and tighten fastening bolts.
7. Attach generator sockets, connect the battery to weight.
