GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Idling turns on diesel engines are regulated through each 50000 km of a run.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put the car on the emergency brake and enclose blocks under driving wheels.
2. Put the check point lever in neutral position.
3. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
4. Connect a tachometer according to the instruction of the manufacturer.
5. If turns differ from standard, then adjust them for what turn off a lock-nut of the adjusting screw and rotate the screw (turning or turning off) until normal turns of idling are established.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE RAISED IDLING TURNS

Adjustment of the raised idling turns

Disconnect hoses 1 and 2 from the vacuum distributor.


Connect the union 1 and 2 a tube piece.


3 and 4 – the screw and a lock-nut for adjustment of turns of idling


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
2. Connect a tachometer according to the instruction of the manufacturer.
3. Disconnect hoses from the vacuum distributor and connect the union to a piece of a tube with a diameter of 4,0 mm.
4. Release an adjusting nut and adjust idling turns which have to be within 850–950 rpm.
5. Tighten an adjusting nut and remove a tachometer.
