GENERAL INFORMATION

Start of the engine

Right after start of the engine release the accelerator pedal that bearings of a turbocharger received necessary lubricant.

It is impossible that the cold engine worked at high turns.

Shutdown of the engine

Before shutdown let's the engine work a little idling. At the expense of it the frequency of rotation of a turbocharger decreases to idling, at the same time pressure of oil remains sufficient for good lubricant. This operation prevents premature wear of bearings, a turbocharger.

The hot engine (for example, right after driving on the highway) has to idle at least 5 minutes before it is switched off to provide sufficient cooling of a turbocharger.
